Smart Refrigerator

Samsung Product Improvement Idea

Submitted 7 years ago

I was reading an article about the new Smart TV and came across a sentence that read something along the lines of people pining for a fridge that could tell you when you're low on a product inside. I have actually had this idea for a while now. Being a stay at home mom with five kids, I do a lot of grocery shopping! I don't know exactly how it could work but I am sure the technology is available. Every product that goes into the fridge is somehow scanned for weight, and once the product becomes low, there is a reminder. Each shelf would be a scale and would know the weight of each product. There of course would be some sort of switch or sensor or camera to know when you are taking the product out for use instead of it being empty.
