Security Suggestion

Samsung Product Improvement Idea

Submitted 6 years ago

With cell phone theft rising, the following suggestion might make life a little bit harder for those that like to take stuff that does not belong to them.
"Where is my Phone" features become useless when a phone is taken and the phone is switched off, battery and SIM removed. The Last location is nice but again it is useless when the phone is switched off at the location where it is taken.
The latest phones all have sealed battery compartments, all they need is a chip SIM card that already exists, and the ability to require a simple pin, fingerprint etc. before the phone can be switched off.
