Phone Display Adjustment

Have it so people with vision impairments can adjust the display for use with or without their glasses. Something like a digital adjustment of the crisp-ness or fuzzy-ness of the screen so the person can grab their phone and see who is calling before putting on their glasses. Maybe an app that is avaliable with the "hot" key.
My father is 70plus and will not get a smart phone because he is worried every time he touches my phone he is pushing something on the screen, before his glasses are on..
Just an idea..
