Recently getting close to a child with type 1 diabetes. I always have to remind him to bring his tester, or have to return home to get one. People with type 1 diabetes need to test several times a day, they must carry a tester with them at all time. One thing I have noticed that kids have their cell phones with them everywhere, they may forget their tester, but always have their phones. This sparked a thought of why a cell phone could not double was a blood sugar tester. Stylist could be converted to a prick pin, and case could hold test strips. Market the phones to those that have diabetes.
