Take Instant Photo On Smartphone Through Power Button

There are shortcut buttons on a smartphone to take photo's e.g. double-press home button on the S6.
In all cases, you need to open any wallet or protector, wait for the screen to pop up so you can preview the image etc.
Would it be possible to take a photo just by pressing the power button 3 times e.g. you can whip your phone out and take a photo instantly, and review it later.
