Well we have all experienced power outages from time to time, and some areas more than others. Some for longer times than others too. What if your fridge had a backup battery that would kick in if shut off my an outage? A battery that could keep your food cold for 24 to 72 hours? A battery that would recharge itself when power was restored to the fridge?
