A space on the door that is ventilated to the outside air but has a sealable lid on the inside to keep the cold air in. So that when you need to thaw out an item you can stick it in the side door, close the compartment and later it will be ready to cook. Also if you put a temperature gauge in this area you could computerize the vent leading to the outside so that once it reaches peak temperature the vent closes and lid opens to keep it fresh incase you decided to eat out!
