Delete Key As Well As Backspace Key

I find that editing web addresses in the browser and also when editing search parameters, having only a backspace key means that I need to position to cursor to the right end of the string before I can backspace. If there was also a delete Keith and I would be able to position the cursor anywhere within the string and delete in whatever Direction I needed. Is there room on the virtual keyboard to add a delete key?
