Rechargeable Base so you can use the phone when the power is out.thunderstorms can take out power.what if someone has a oxygen machine and now it don't work they need to call 911(THEY CAN'T)what if someone has a car wreck in front of your house (THE PHONE DOES NOT WORK) A tragedy happens what are you going to do.Cordless phones are not going anywhere either. Every year they are selling more and more.when you order a pizza you are calling to a cordless phone.hospitals use them,house holds,and so on.THIS NEEDS TO BE MADE ASAP.911 IS important PLEASE LOOK INTO THIS.
