Suggestion for Upgrade to LCD/ Smart connect touch screen refrigerators ~ Add magnetic door lock outs for Children

Having 2 autistic children and running around with 1 or the other can lead to one or the other mixing yogurt or other condiments with open containers of juice or milk, excessive *child ~ overeating, Cold items to be spread all over the house, Jelly to be Smeared all over the place, (floors, cabs, fridge, oven, walls, carpet ext) Frozen food left out meat left on the floor. (bug invasions) from Items being tossed behind the fridge and or under furniture. Hidden spoiled foods around the house ~ I am sure you are getting the picture.

Secondly ~ the freezer holds quick food like chicken nuggets, french fries, corn dogs, pizza rolls, frozen pretzels, eggos Ext ~ and my two sons are constantly taking them out and placing them on the counter, or trying to cook them in the fryer, toaster or oven / very unsafe for a child with disabilities.

My family and I would like to, propose a lockout (magnetic system) for any newer refrigerator with a build in (LCD or touch screen display) / Adding a digital keypad with a 9 numerical digit + (* and #) with (included app) for a 4 - 5 digit code ~ To unlock and lock the Refrigerators ~


There are 1.000s of different child locks for doors on the market. Most of them are ineffective and children can find ways to break the locks. They scratch the fronts of fridges and cause unwanted blemished. Also many require modifications to the refrigerators and the new smart connect wifi (wireless) fridges cannot be modified with many standard keypad access modifications.

With the sales of the aftermarket products you could add the cost of the powerful magnets set to 200 LB pull strength or Slide locks for top and bottom, Pin locks to go into the top frame and bottom frame. Or drawer frames. This can be added to any of the current models Samsung sells.

The importance of This (suggested feature) is extremely appealing to the General population with children. Initial sales will spike once this is advertised, This feature alone will triple refrigerator sales in the first year alone. As samsung has financing and low payments and interest. Think of the possibilities by adding this one little feature. Cost expectation with the modifications would add an additional $500 - $1000 to ea unit, Leaving plenty of room for excess profits. The sales will die down after 2 - 3 years of User replacements, however this feature becoming standard on all new released fridges or as an option, will continue to boost sales and without other companies having this tech first. Samsung will be the leader or the pack. and can Patient this idea to make Gains off other companies that attempt to use the idea for themselves.

Overall, this would be a Huge seller and highly profitable venture to consider.
