Waiting

I love mcdonalds and so does my grandbaby. I have seen the influx of customers all day at every store and the wait in the drive thru is almost extensive. I believe that every effort is being utilized on your part to move customers quickly. The staff is friendly and helpful. This is my suggestion. I recently visited another similar type of store and what they were doing I think may help you. This particular place had long lines all the time as well. They had a worker physically moving throughout the long lines with a portable tablet that can take orders. The worker knew what could be substituted and what was on sale. They entered my order by my name. There was also another worker with a credit card portable machine that could swipe cards for payment. Then when you moved to the window, you only picked up your order by your name and went about your way. And maybe with the worker that takes the order can also bring the food out if they have the time. It may eliminate some of the wait time. This may help to retain those persons that choose another place to eat due to the long lines. I know you want the long lines because that is good for business but people that are on their way to work or at lunch cant afford the long wait. Just a thought.
