Quorn has come a long way, this is partly what is driving the surge in veganism. I eat meat, but I do struggle with weight loss, as does my partner who is a real foodie and regularly eats at michelin star restaurants. Even she is convinced that these frozen Quorn chicken nuggets are delicious.

I enjoy meat too much to give it up right now, and very few substitutes are of a sufficient standard to replace the real deal. I do however still care about the suffering of animals and the impact of industrial farming on the environment. While this won't solve all the world problems, McDonalds is such a huge business that even small reductions such as this to its environmental impact could have a significant effect.
