Put small perforations in the top and bottom of sandwhich boxes, the dotted line kind which can easily be punched open.
These are for inserting two fingers in the new openings in order to open and close the mouth of the puppet.
Include one sheet of stickers or punch outs with parts of a funny face, or examples of what could be drawn to create a face around the top and bottom of the front of the box.
