I recently had the best hashbrown at McDonald�s. It was by accident. My hashbrown had somehow been altered my accident. It was so much better! It gave me the idea for a slightly different hashbrown. Here it is:
Put an indention/impression around the edge of the entire hashbrown. Maybe about 1/8 to a 1/4 inch from the outside. That allows for the edge to fry a bit crisper. It�s a totally different experience and I loved it. Much better than a regular hashbrown.
