McDonalds New Service Idea

As a McDonalds employee in central Florida, where �snowbirds� are all but completely taking over our town�s various food and retail establishments, I�ve noticed a significant influx of retired and/ or elderly patrons showing up to order themselves HAPPY MEALS, of all things.
It wasn�t until today, however, that I realized just how popular an order it�s become. Our McD�s became the social hub of an entire BUS-LOAD of senior citizens from a local assisted living facility ( upscale retirement home)... the vast majority of whom chose a Happy Meal over the new $3/$2/$1 menu.
This lead me to wonder just how much more of this demographic might be persuaded to eat at McDonalds if their was a certain period of time each day- a �HAPPY Hour�, if you will- wherein senior citizens could purchase their Happy Meals at a reduced price.
PRICE, after all, seems to be the only issue any elderly customer ever tends to have with ordering their Happy Meals... and they still inevitably wind up getting them, because that�s all they�re interested in having. Imagine how many more would follow suit if they could have what they want at a discount?
Just an idea... �� Happy hour works for BARS... why not for fast food. Fast food which, incidentally, already includes the word HAPPY in it�s name.
Gimmicks don�t get much more perfect than THAT.
