Let's not beat around the bush here. Growing numbers show consumers feel as though the beef in fast food burgers may not be very close to beef at all. Let alone beef production is shown to be far from sustainable and not the best for our planet. Instead of sinking in and doubling down on the beef burger, embrace the "fake" with a full vegan burger and vegan big mac option, aka, "The Big Green." The key is to find the right methods and seasoning to have this option be preferred in taste over their traditional "beef" patties and market this option as a stepping stone towards environmental sustainability and Mcdonald's is the one setting the bar.
