An Animated McDonaldLand Sitcom

In today's age where everything is being made darker and grittier and just about every mainstream product had some satirical parodies, what better way for McDonalds to embrace today's generation than with a cartoon that advertises and makes light lf what the pessimistic society thinks of it?

Imagine an animated sitcom, comparable in comedic targets to Family Guy or Brickleberry; starring an aged and grizzlded Ronald McDonald who has come to hate his job and children, and only cares about himself. Basically, McDonalds' Bad Santa. His friends are in similar condition: Grimace, now an obese slob filled with self-loathing (similar to Bill from King of the Hill); Hamburglar, having gone from an incorrigible gibberish-speaking kid with a sweet tooth for burgers to full-on crazy, incoherently-rambling burger-addict; and Birdie, the once clumsy sweetheart now a train-wreck of mishaps and low self-esteem. Their misadventures take them through a similarly aged and uglier (but still fun and silly) MdDonaldLand, interacting with all of their old friends / enemies, dealing with the ever-constant work of marketing McDonalds food to an overly-critical / obese audience, and just trying to get through each day.

This concept would further preserve the fond memories of our favorite food mascots, while putting an edgier spin on everything for today's generations, keeping the characters and McDonaldsLand relevant, and even helping issues with health critics by making viewers more aware, while at the same time more accepting of the fast food industry.
