Produce Upgrade...stop The Rotting Of Brocolli And Fresh Veggies

I have a suggestion for your produce departments...nationwide. I spend 50% of my year in Europe, and I prefer the way they handle produce there. Both Kroger and European grocers wrap cauliflower in plastic without any additional moisture added. Perfect. In Europe, broccoli is also wrapped tightly in plastic to preserve its natural moisture content, but never do they spray with water. This is true across the board. Lettuce heads are wrapped and not soaked. The grocers, Kaufland, Alberts, Lidl, wrap much of the produce, display others openly, and soak none of it.
I delight in Kroger, the senior discount on store brands, the gas discount, and generally everything else - the store brand Select is the finest ice-cream in the store. But I shudder and get angry at the wasteful and disgusting mistreatment of water sprayed/soaked rotting, aging before its time, produce...and for some reason the Kroger spoilage of broccoli especially stirs my ire. My wife and I love broccoli.
Please experiment with my suggestions...wrap instead of soak broccoli, lettuce, and display without soaking the carrots. Then broaden to see what else stays fresh without constant misting.
