Gas/Steam Hybrid Engine

Hyundai New Product Idea

Submitted 126 days ago

The Wasted Heat From Combustion Produces Steam In The Water Jacket That Serves As A Boiler. This Steam Is Collected And Superheated In The Exhaust System. This Superheated Steam Potentially Can Add Another Powerstroke To The Same Engine. This Could Raise The Thermal Efficiency Up To 50%. The Model Shown Is A Simple Version That Demonstrates Is No Too Expensive To Build. An Improved Combustion Engine Could Be Beneficial For Reducing Greenhouse Emissions And Fighting Climate Change, Taking Into Account That Most Motor Vehicle In The Us Use Combustion Engines.
