A Toaster That Actually Toasts Both Sides Evenly

Toasters have had the same design for years - a heating element wrapped around a strip of mica.
Some work properly and toast both sides of the piece of bread evenly, but most do not.
How about a new design that actually toasts evenly?
Other useful features could be,
+ See through sides
+ Lifter that does not switch off the heating (for repositioning if needed)
+ Easy to use (and accurate) browning control
