Phase Change Building Comfort Cooling System

Dyson New Product Idea

Submitted 8 years ago

Using eutectic salts in a box with a fan (Dyson of course) that takes cool outside air at night to solidify salts that "freeze" at 23 Degrees C and then the salts in the box "melt" the following daytime when absorbing the heat from the building via the daytime building air that is circulated through the box. We are building design engineers and have a mock-up. This could become standard "zero carbon/zero energy" building cooling system in Northern Europe and has huge market potential (£100 Million/year).
