Make A Washer/dryer That Does It All

As a person who hates doing laundry and often forgets about it leaving it wet for hours, it came to me that there should be a machine that washes and then dries clothes. How hard could it be to combine the two? Realizing washer/dryer companies make money off each item, I'm sure they aren't the ones to contact about this idea. However, perhaps Dyson will see the opportunity. Not only will it save time for everyone, it will save space and perhaps there are ways of perfecting the old system to make it more echo friendly?
