An appliance that filters grease, smoke, odors, steam produced by cooking on a conventional stove top. Would need easily replaced disposable filter (on order of paper towel like material) as well as easily washed (dishwasher or by hand) air handling components.

Unless vented to the outside, standard range fans either don't filter at all or filter poorly, resulting in grease, grime collecting on everything in the house. This prevents cooks from pan frying meets at the higher temperatures needed for a a good sear. Also can be used when things are accidentally burned, to remove smoke and odors.

Additional option: A Dyson Range hood with easy to remove filters, easy to clean. Swap in replacement for existing range hoods.
