Make a system of pluggable modular Lego like pipes, motors, inlets, outlets and filters to ventilate individual restaurant tables or office workstations. This would setup a steady airflow between ceiling and floor (or vice versa). Each table would have an air intake unit on the floor, say 10cm across. A pipe would carry the air to a central trunk. The trunk would gather the individual airflows and exhaust them out of the building though a UV filter. With sufficient airflow this would carry any virus away from each table. Introducing disinfectant into the airflow might be useful too. The components would snap together and the pipes could be cut to an exact fit so it fits neatly.
