Approx 30 years ago Insent my idea to an invention company (I also sent a copy to myself which I still have unopened) who wanted to take on the idea but needed me to invest money and they kept a large proportion of the profits, I was unable to take up the offer.
Anyway the idea!
To have a breathalyser fitted into a car wired up between the Coil and the ignition. The purpose would be that you could not start your car without blowing into the breathalyser, if you passed the connection would be made and you would start the car up normally.
Once connected it would stay connected for a specified time once the engine was turned off, approx 5 minutes in order that you could stop and get petrol, if you stalled the car etc so that you would not have to go through the whole routine again.
The unit could be sealed and be included in the MOT check list to prevent people from circumnavigating it.
