1. General points
1.1 For each wheel there is only one valve, that replaces the NO and NC On-Off Solenoid-Valves:
Thus, reducing Block-size, and simplifying the algorithm (page 2 of the Abstract).
1.2 All other ABS components remain.
1.3 Valve (negligible-cost) Prototype design (Solids & Drawings) completed.
2. Performance:
Thanks to the accurate, fast and smooth flow controllability (of the Valve):
The adhesion-utilized z/k=0.979 is achieved, while braking, on dry-asphalt with puddles (wet-asphalt).
(Note: z/k=1.00 is the max physically possible deceleration).
3. Innovations:
3.1 The reasons it is not a solenoid-valve are:
3.1.2 To achieve the accurate, fast, repeatable smooth flow control,
3.1.3 To achieve a Robust design (more than solenoids).
4. Unique:
I searched (in patents and catalogs) and did not find a valve close to this configuration.
5. Suggestion:
Since it is a very low-cost prototype, a low-cost valve-test, will verify the Valve-characteristics:
I think that an ABS, thanks to this valve, will be the best ABS in the world.
