Idea For New Car To Be Promoted As Affordable Car

I have a vision of the need for car manufacturers to produce cars to be far more affordable similar to the push now for affordable housing. Americans are so financially strapped with house and car payments, crime is being driven up as well as the homeless population, which is about 600,000!!!
My vision is for an antique Chrysler car to be updated but very simple to operate as in the old days without computers. You all already have the blueprints for that car so you wouldn't have to start with square one in designing it. Car would be attractive for seniors as well as new drivers.
I looked at your 1955 Chrysler Windsor Deluxe 4 door sedan. My thoughts were to just update the front grill to modernize it and keep it as an automatic with automatic windows, but to have the bench seats installed-far less expensive than the bucket seats and simple and inexpensive to construct, and to keep it fairly stripped down, simple to use. My thought was to make it attractive to those who love the oldy goldies era. People like what is familiar and not too different.
I was thinking it would be extremely attractive to come out in a cream color, robins egg blue and also a brown car with deep brown accents to look sophisticated. Accent colors could be around the front and side windows....like on a house.
I think Americans would go for this.............what do you think?
