Child Safety Alert

Chrysler New Product Idea

Submitted 5 years ago

Just in the Past ten years, 721 children have died because they were left in a vehicle over a long enough period of time to cause heat stroke. 54% of those cases were the parents inadvertently leaving their child in the car. Why can't we have a safety senor ( just like the airbag system) that allows the seat to detect the weight in the back seat as well. If the weight is left in the car, I. E. a child in a car seat there is a bell that goes off until the weight is removed from the car?
