New Exciting Horse Games For Girls Aged 8+

Activision New Product Idea

Submitted 8 years ago

Starting point: you have a stable with 8 boxes and one pony. Around the stable, there are 2 prairies; a bigger one for all horses and a smaller one for the ill horses. There is also an inside riding hall (dressage) and an outside pen (jumping). Next to the stables, and there is a washroom to wash, brush and groom your horse. You start off with the prairie-riding ground and later you can unlock other riding grounds such as the forest, the coast and the rainbow-waterfalls (waterfalls and mountains...)
Main goal: Train horse to win the Olympic jumping-and-dressage event.
Stages;
First you have to train the young horse.
Then you have to take part in competitions (Monday and Friday dressage and Tuesday and Thursday jumping)
You need to qualify for the Olympics and then you try to win them.
Side objectives: Complete missions when you go out riding in the prairie, forest, coast or waterfalls: For example: There is a horse caught in a thorn bush. Free it by using the pliers. Then lead the horse home and put it in the grooming place. Examine the horse. (For example; the horse has got a couple of injuries from being trapped.) Use an ointment to cure the horse. Then put the horse on the pasture or in one of your boxes (from then on it's your horse, you can ride it, train it, groom it, sell it or even breed with it). Another objective could be; there has been a really bad storm overnight. Farmer Thompson, who owns the farm in the prairie, has got a problem: ten pigs escaped! He could really use your help, so take one of your horses, groom it, tack it and go out to search the pigs and return them safely...
Good job!!! Farmer Thompson is so grateful; he offers you a reward; one of his five beautiful mares!
The missions become more and more challenging and fun and of course the rewards do to!
How to play: If you put your horse in the stable it will stay clean but you will have to feed it with extra hay or oats. If you put it on the pasture, it will get dirty but it will have enough to eat.
If you want to lead your horse: go to the horse, click on it and then, click on the button below with a halter on it. Then your character will put the halter on the horses head. Now you can lead your horse wherever you want, even in the forest, prairie, coast or rainbow waterfalls.
If you want to brush your horse, go to the groom or wash room (that's the same) and click on it. The character will tie the horse and you will have the choice between
-hard brush
-soft brush
-hoof cleaner.
When you are finished, you can click on the button above which indicates 'Return to stable'
If you want to ride, don't click on the return button, but on the button beside, which indicates 'saddle and bridle' or 'tack'.
You click on your saddle then on the horse's back. The same for the bridle but you click on the horse's head.
Now, you can return and click on your horse. The button Ride will appear bellow. Click on it and she will get on the horse.
How to ride: click once on the left mouse button to speed up so; Horse is standing. Click once. Horse is walking. Click once. Horse is trotting. Click once. Horse is galloping. Or you can also: Horse stands. Double click. Horse trots.... Or of course the same for walk-gallop... To slow down, the same principle, only click on the right mouse button. (Buy the way, this is also the way of moving your character when she is not riding, but she/he can only walk/run). To steer: just point the mouse in the direction where you want to go, the horse follows the mouse. Don't click on the mouse, that's for speeding up/down! To jump: space bar (you have to trot for small and lope/gallop for bigger jumps, otherwise the horse just stops). If you are riding outside, in the prairie/forest/coast/waterfalls, and you get a mission, in which you have to lead another horse, you can lead it whilst sitting on your riding horse. Of course you can only walk if the horse is injured.
