New COD Stand Alone- "Roots"

I have recently developed an idea for a new game in the Call of Duty franchise. The campaign of the game would start in the Revolutionary War. You would begin as a normal Continental Soldier, and after a few missions have been completed, you character would be shot in action. As your character closes his eyes to die, the screen will go black and then cut to a funeral scene. The funeral will be yours, but will be viewed from the eyes of your son. As your son closes his eyes to mourn, the screen goes black again, this time cutting to a family tree that skips down to the next major war in American history. The screen would then cut to a soldier in battle, which is your new character. This pattern would continue until you have reached present day.

MULTIPLAYER: Instead of choosing between just game mods such as TDM and Domination, you would be able to choose the time period you want to play in. There could be a "party playlist" which mixes up game modes and time periods for the player. Adding different time periods would cause players to constantly adapt to the different eras of warfare, adding an extra challenge to multiplayer.

EXTRA CONTENT: Players from existing Call of Duty games could have a cameo appearance in the wars they fought in.
