Campaign:is a character of your choice is in a zombie/solar apocalypse so thay have to fight in the night because of the sun
Multiplayer:you can do all the normal stuff but at day you have to navigate the map in the shade and in the night the only thing diferent thing is that it is darker(there is no zombie apocolipse in multiplayer)
