Imagine world war three happened,and the damage that was done was so Immense that only 1 milion people remained.
And the remaining armys started to contact each other and form Alliances. They need more soldiers,so they "recruit." The maps would be destroyed. There could be a specific map, futuristic scenery where even the guns and avatar skins change. The avatars skins, while playing on a regular map would be teared up, burned, dirty clothing. Weapons can be hand made, enhanced weaponry constructed by the survivors with help of the army. Campaign mode could be they story of one of the surviovors. " He wakes up from a coma. Cliche,yes. ( a miracle that he survived without food or warter) as soon as he realizes whats going on he starts gathering material and constructs a gun. He sets off to find an army that stands for what he believes in.( the armys are at war for possesion of the world )
