COD Warfare Campaigns

It would be a great idea, to follow warfare from a private's viewpoint starting from the revolutionary war through modern times. For instance, what was it like to muster out for the civil war? Live in a regimental camp, march into battle at Gettysburg and survive? Than if you survive the main battles of the civil war, one would then take off and fight in world war 1. As you progress, you gain rank for the next up coming war.

The entire concept is to experience the war as it was fought. Line up shoulder to shoulder, go musket to musket, reload your musket, duck behind stone walls, fight in the trenches of WW1 and live through the mustard gas attacks. Sure it is fun to run around in COD3 with the most powerful weapons and unleash hell. Being able to strategize and follow the ranks or go AWOL is something that most of us have never considered let alone live through.

I would love to experience a first person shooter reliving times from the beginning of our country, through the civil war to Iraq. Thanks much for listening.
