Just some suggestions.
1.) on the single player missions - offer it up as a team mission - Rather than walk in with team AI, go in with 3 man team + AI, and offer it like a "comms vest" with drone overwatch, directions to come through the vest.
2.) on the single player missions - Offer part of it where it goes across the multiplayer map, like a "vs AI" or "VS Player" and give a DMZ map, where it's littered with hunt squad/Hunt operator, and the AI doesn't attack AI side operators.
3.) Offer up DMZ mission's where you can load in as an AI boss, like chemist, pyro, or juggernaut. You have a limited travel outside of your weapon case area. the weapon case, you can hide, or just carry. You'll have the comms wheel like usual, linked to local AI squads (4 AI team) which you can direct to patrol an area, or (if players have been spotted in the area) attack enemy teams.
4.) on DMZ size map (Al Mazrah), offer up a mission which is purely "ROAD RAGE" teams start in vehicles, can go off road for 15 seconds, and the road is blockade free, however, points given for destroying other vehicles, and players can shoot power up's to get overwatch vehicles which will follow them, attacking enemy teams (using the train heist mechanic for example.)
Weapons on floor picked up by driving over, weapons can be brought in from DMZ, or insured slots.
