Black Ops 5 Zombies Perk System

Activision Other Idea

Submitted 4 years ago

Hello, Activision. I am a huge fan of the Treyarch Zombies mode. With the release of Black Ops 4, I have noticed a lot of backlash about the perk system for Zombies. I wanted to pitch an idea that is a possibility to fix this problem.

1. Bring back the old perk system where most or all the perks are on the map
2. Jason Blundell described in an interview about how older perks (Juggernog, Quick Revive, Speed Cola, Double Tap) are the main perks that everyone grabs, which is why Black Ops 4 had different game mechanics (such as Speed Cola if all four perks were held at the same time, or a four-hit system). The HUD from Black Ops 4 can be improved to fix some of these problems
2a. Have four main slots for any perk in the game, but have Juggernog on the side. This system can be used for tactical reasons. Black Ops 4 introduced Modifiers for all perks. Return this feature, but have passive bonuses for all perks. If Juggernog is bought, it will remove all passive abilities. For example, Deadshot Dealer's Modifier ability is headshot bonus damage when on a headshot streak. If Juggernog is bought, Deadshot Dealer's Modifier will be removed
2b. Keep the Speed Cola system in Black Ops 4
2c. On solo games, Quick Revive can be on the side of the four main perks, similar to Juggernog. This is so players can hold Quick Revive on solo and still have four other perks
2d. The Pack-A-Punch system in Black Ops 4 to replace Double Tap, in my opinion, is very tedious. Bring back the Black Ops III system, but on the second Pack-A-Punch, give the double damage ability that Double Tap II provides

Thank you for considering my idea. I hope you read this idea and give it consideration
